Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture obtained through Google Sign-In.
Profile Information: Phone number with country code, address, city, district, state, pincode, and country.
Listing Information: Photos, descriptions, weight, purity, and pricing of gold/silver items you list on the platform.
Business Information: Business name, business type, and proof documents (for business accounts).
Financial Information: Bank account name, account number, IFSC code, and bank name — collected only when you submit a withdrawal request for referral credits.
Device Information: Device push notification token, used solely to deliver alerts about your listings and deals.
Transaction Information: Subscription plan details, payment status, and referral activity history.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your GSX account and profile.
Display your listings to other users on the platform.
Connect buyers and sellers through our deal system.
Process subscription payments via Google Play Billing.
Send push notifications about new listings, deal updates, and account activity.
Process referral rewards and credit withdrawals.
Provide customer and appraiser support through our Help section.
Improve platform performance and prevent fraudulent activity.

3 Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following ways:

With deal partners: When a buyer accepts your listing deal, your name, phone number, and address are shared with that buyer to facilitate contact. Seller bill attachments are only visible to accepted buyers.
With payment processors: Subscription payments are handled via Google Play Billing. Google's privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
With appraisers: User Plan and Business Plan subscribers who request appraiser help will have their contact details shared with the verified appraiser.
For legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Users may request data deletion by contacting us.

5 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard servers. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Photos and documents you upload are stored securely and are only accessible to authorised users based on the deal acceptance state.

Bank account details provided for withdrawal requests are stored securely and are only used for processing those specific requests.

6 Push Notifications

With your permission, GSX sends push notifications to alert you about new listings, deal activity, and account updates. Your device push token is collected only for this purpose and is never shared with third parties.

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the app.

7 Subscription & Payments

Subscription payments are processed via Google Play Billing. We store your subscription plan and status on our servers — we do not handle or store any payment card details.

Recurring charges are handled by Google Play Billing. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Store account settings.

8 Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and review the personal information we hold about you through your profile.
Update or correct your profile information at any time from within the app.
Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting our support team.
Opt out of push notifications through your device settings.
Cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges.

9 Children's Privacy

GSX is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the GSX app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
